United Protective Services is seeking a professional, dependable Security Officer to provide weekend security coverage at a retail shopping center. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with the public while maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants and visitors.

Availability RequirementApplicants must reside within approximately 15 miles of ZIP Code 77037 to ensure reliable and timely reporting for scheduled shifts and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct proactive golf cart patrols throughout the shopping center.

Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and enhance customer safety.

Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and maintenance concerns.

Respond professionally to incidents and emergency situations.

Complete Daily Activity Reports (DARs) and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Provide excellent customer service while interacting with tenants, visitors, and the public.

Communicate effectively with supervisors and property management.
Qualifications
-
Minimum of one (1) year of professional security experience preferred.

Active Texas Level II Security License required.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Professional appearance and dependable attendance.

Ability to work outdoors and operate a golf cart throughout the shift.
