Role: Senior Project Manager (PMP Certified)
Location: Wisconsin (Remote – Must be a WI resident)
Duration: Contract through June 2027 (Extension Possible)
Rate: $80/hr on W2
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager (PMP Certified) to lead a large-scale Child Care Systems Modernization initiative. This is an excellent opportunity to drive a high-impact digital transformation project by managing strategic planning, procurement, governance, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise-level IT modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
Develop project roadmaps, implementation strategies, and governance frameworks.
Manage procurement activities, including RFIs, RFPs, SOWs, vendor evaluations, and contract negotiations.
Coordinate with business, technology, procurement, and executive stakeholders to ensure project success.
Prepare project plans, charters, work plans, executive briefings, status reports, and risk management documentation.
Monitor project timelines, risks, deliverables, and overall program execution.
Required Qualifications:
PMP Certification (Required at the time of submission)
15+ years of Project Management experience managing large-scale IT initiatives.
Proven experience in digital transformation, technology modernization, or enterprise system implementation.
Strong background in procurement planning, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
Expertise in project governance, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and organizational change management.
Experience using MS Project or similar project management tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with State/Federal Government or Public Sector projects.
Experience modernizing legacy applications and implementing cloud-based solutions.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and enterprise modernization programs.
Additional Requirements:
Candidates must be physically located in the United States.
Must be a Wisconsin resident
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
