Never worked retail, no problem! Once Upon A Child Richmond West End is looking for applicants who are eager to expand their skills in a safe, family-owned business. But don't apply if you aren't willing to work nights and weekends because this is retail!
What do we do? Once Upon A Child Richmond West End offers customers a fun and convenient way to buy and sell gently used kids stuff every day! Families save money on children's clothes, toys and baby equipment while also saving our environment. We focus on quality, safety, and value – the same things that were important for your family. You can help your community, your environment and get job experience at the same time!
Once Upon A Child Richmond West End wants outgoing and motivated individuals who like kids and enjoy working in a fun, team oriented environment. The right candidates will be available to work some days (9a-3pm) and some nights(3or 4pm to 9pm) and weekends. Once we fully train you you will be able to ring sales,answer phones, assist customers, tag and hang items, communicate the buy process to our customers, and display our products in an attractive and organized fashion.
What we are looking for in an applicant:
1) Great customer service and communication skills
2) Basic math skills & must be able to lift 40-50 pounds
3) Ability to work independently and as part of a team
4) Ability to handle customers with sensitivity & communicate effectively
5) Ability to work at a fast pace with accuracy
6) Must have flexibility with work schedules; weekends are a must
