Overview
Opulent Private Care Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home skilled nursing care for a medically fragile infant enrolled in the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP). This patient requires tracheostomy and ventilator support, enteral feedings, and continuous respiratory monitoring. This position is ideal for a nurse experienced in high-acuity pediatric home care who values consistency, clinical excellence, and family-centered care. This is a part-time position.
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled nursing care in accordance with the Physician Plan of Treatment (PPOT) and GAPP guidelines
- Trach care and tracheostomy management
- Ventilator monitoring and respiratory assessments
- Airway management including suctioning and secretion management
- Oxygen therapy management and continuous pulse oximetry monitoring
- Administer respiratory treatments (nebulizers, CPT, airway clearance as ordered)
- Enteral feeding management (NJ/G-tube/GJ-tube and feeding pump)
- Monitor feeding tolerance and document intake/output
- Medication administration as ordered
- Vital signs monitoring and ongoing patient assessments
- Provide total care support including repositioning, skin integrity monitoring, and hygiene care
- Provide caregiver education as appropriate per care plan
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
- Communicate effectively with family, physicians, and Opulent Private Care Services clinical team
- Maintain reliability and continuity of care for this high-acuity case
Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Current and active Georgia RN license (required)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- Pediatric home health or medically fragile pediatric experience (preferred)
- Trach and ventilator experience (strongly preferred)
- Experience with enteral feeding tubes (preferred)
- Experience with respiratory equipment (ventilator, pulse ox, oxygen) preferred
- Ability to work independently in a home setting
- Must pass background and fingerprint screening
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray
- Compassionate, dependable, and punctual
Pay is $50-$55 per hour based on experience.
Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
