Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young children. Sumner Daycare and Learning Center is seeking a full time teacher for our infant room. Our center cares for children 6 weeks of age all the way up to 10 year olds. We are open Monday through Friday 5:30am to 5:30pm and are closed for all major holidays. Our philosophy is to offer a quality environment with learning opportunities that foster the development of the whole child: intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally.

What we are looking for....
Must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Successfully pass all required background checks
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Complete all necessary training needed for working in childcare in time frame given
- Be able to follow all safety regulations and guidelines
- Be dependable, organized, and punctual
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Be good at multitasking as the infant room is very hands on
- Be patient, compassionate, nurturing and flexible
- Be able to handle difficult situations such as multiple crying infants at one time
- Have a passion for working with infants and young children
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous childcare experience
- CPR/First Aid certification
- CDA, AA, or BA in Early Childhood Education is a plus, but not required
