Compensation: $17.50-$18.50 per hour (upon completion of training phase)
Status: Part-time (30-35 hours per week)
Job Summary (Essential Functions)
Provide food and beverage service to club members and guests; monitor game play and provide
service to members and guests partaking in game activities
Games Ambassador Responsibilities:

Sets up and maintains snack stations, including cookies, fruit, chips, pretzels, and similar items.

Prepares and replenishes beverages such as coffee, hot water for tea, water, lemonade, and iced tea.

Monitors the area to keep snack and beverage stations clean and organized.

Walks around and checks on the players and the room, ensuring cleanliness and attentiveness to their players and their needs.

Clears and cleans dirty glasses, plates, and utensils.

Removes trash and ensures the games area remains neat and welcoming for members and guests.
Server Responsibilities

Sets up side station and completes assigned prep and side work.

Provides prompt, courteous attention to members and guests upon seating.

Distributes food and wine menus; answers questions and offers daily specials

Fills and refills water glasses; maintains butter, beverages, and table needs.

Accurately records account numbers and names for billing.

Takes and places orders through the POS, communicating special requests or dietary needs with the kitchen

Assembles and serves food efficiently and correctly by course.

Checks back to ensure member and guest satisfaction.

Clears soiled dishes, resets tables with proper silverware, and maintains dining room cleanliness.

Presents dessert menus; serves dessert, coffee, and after-dinner beverages.

Verifies check accuracy, including pricing and applicable taxes; presents the bill.

Processes member charges and credit card payments according to standard operating procedures.

Advises supervisors immediately of any complaints or concerns.

Performs assigned clean-up and closing duties.

Attends pre-meal meetings as requested by management.

Thank the members and guests, and invite them to return.

Follows all local and state laws and club policies regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.

Performs other duties as assigned by the Dining Room or Outlet Manager.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
-
Grade 12 education.
-
Two years of comparable wait service experience preferred.

The ability to read, write, and execute basic math skills.

Licenses and Special Requirements

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, and twist or reach.
