Captain’s Sealcoating in Big Flats specializes in hand-applied driveway sealcoating, crack fill, asphalt patching and parking lot line striping. Work is performed entirely outdoors and is physical in nature. You must be able to work in the heat and be physically capable of repeatedly lifting up to 75 pounds. Our seasonal positions run from April to November.
The Crew Foreman performs the same tasks as our General Laborers but will also supervise assigned crew members, manage daily worklists, operate equipment and collect customer payments for each workday.
· Shifts start at 6am. The typical workday can be 8-10 hours per day and we may work up to 6 days per week depending on the weather. This time can extend to 12 hours on certain days.
· The work week will generally run Monday – Saturday with occasional Sunday’s depending on weather and job assignment.
Applicants MUST have prior experience in paving, asphalt, sealcoating industry and must be a licensed driver. Our ideal candidate will have experience running a skid steer. CDL driver preferred.
