Torque Motorsports is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Lead Body & Paint Technician to lead our body and paint department. We're a performance and custom shop specializing in everything from complete restorations and collision repair to custom fabrication, paint, suspension, off-road builds, marine projects, and high-performance upgrades.
What You'll Do
- Lead all body and paint operations
- Perform collision and structural repairs
- Metal finishing, panel replacement, and fabrication
- Prepare vehicles for high-quality paint work
- Paint, blend, buff, and polish to show-quality standards
- Coordinate workflow with service advisors and technicians
- Maintain quality control throughout the repair process
- Train and mentor other body technicians
- Ensure jobs stay on schedule while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of body and paint experience
- Leadership experience preferred
- Strong metal fabrication and welding skills
- Experience with custom builds, restorations, and performance vehicles
- Ability to perform high-end paint preparation and refinishing
- Frame measuring and repair experience is a plus
- Pride in craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality
- Valid driver's license

- Air ride, lift kits, or off-road builds
- Marine fiberglass or paint experience
- Performance vehicle experience
- Show-quality finishing and detailing
