Three Way Logistics is an industry leader in material management, logistics, and comprehensive transportation services with proven accuracy, flexibility, and on-time delivery. We are looking for 2 Full Time Material Handlers for our Haltom City, TX facility. This role will be for the First and Second Shifts.
Shifts: M-F, 7am to 3:30pm (First Shift) and 12pm to 8:30pm( Second Shift)
Pay: $20/hour
Responsibilities IncludeReceiving, shipping, organizing, processing, and maintaining inventory within a controlled warehouse environment.
Essential Duties
- Verifies and records incoming receipts and outgoing shipments.
- Visually confirms that product information (part number) and quantities match bills of lading information and shipment manifests.
- Processes and organizes customer products for delivery.
- Sorts, organizes, and stores inventory in the correct location.
- Packages products for delivery.
- Places product labels, shipping labels or bills of lading on cartons and crates.
- Uses forklift, walkie rider, and/or pallet jack to load and offload trailers.
- Uses various Warehouse Management Systems to move products in and out of inventory, with computer and RF scanners.
- Notes and photographs of customer product exceptions when freight shows signs of damage.
- Promptly reports all problems to Supervisor.
- Anticipates potential safety issues and initiates actions to solve or prevent problems.
- Wear the personal protective equipment (PPE) provided as required.
- Email communications to both internal and external customers regarding shipments as required.
- Ensures that the work area is clean and free of debris.
- Ensures that product aisles are clean and free of hazards.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
Experience / Requirements
- Able to perform required assignments in an accurate and timely manner.
- Forklift experience is required.
- Lifting and unloading shipments up to 50 lbs.
- Able to follow directions without requiring detailed explanations.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work both as a team member and independently.
- Able to stand all day and perform repetitive motions (reaching, grasping, carrying, etc.).
- Maintain a good attendance record.
