Role Description: Warehouse Associate
The purpose of the Warehouse Associate is to support warehouse operations by storing, pulling, and preparing inventory for projects. This role is focused on maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring items are properly tracked within the inventory software, E-Z Rent Out (EZRO), and supporting the flow of goods in and out of the warehouse. The Warehouse Associate serves as a key point of coordination for inventory readiness, ensuring all items are properly tagged, logged, and prepared for storage or deployment. They are also responsible for daily problem-solving related to inventory preparation and tracking.
Position Responsibilities
- Prepare and pull inventory for upcoming projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain consistent and accurate updates in the inventory software, E-Z Rent Out (EZRO), including item status, location, and notes
- Send regular updates to the Installation Operations Manager and Designers regarding the status of inventory items
- Respond to questions from staging design and installation teams related to inventory status, orders, or received items
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing items are properly labeled, logged, and tracked in the system
- Inspect, unpack, and check in inventory upon arrival or return, updating all relevant details in E-Z Rent Out (EZRO)
- Verify that all items are properly packaged, staged, and documented for storage or deployment
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with inventory organization, audits, and system accuracy
- Maintain clear and consistent documentation standards in alignment with company guidelines
- Support cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Residential, and Hotels) with inventory-related tasks and system updates
- Identify and escalate any inventory discrepancies, damages, or issues promptly to management
Skills and Experience
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience with furniture and homeware industries preferred
- Proven track record of consistency, detail-orientation, and follow-through
- Proficient in inventory management systems
- High School Degree, or equivalent, required
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
