Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Auto Collision Repair Estimator to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate, OEM-compliant repair plans, proper documentation for insurance partners, and a smooth production flow from intake to delivery.
The ideal candidate understands DRP requirements, gross profit control, CCC ONE, and how to write thorough estimates that minimize supplements while maintaining quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Write accurate and complete collision repair estimates using CCC ONE
- Analyze vehicle damage and determine OEM-compliant repair procedures
- Prepare estimates for insurance DRPs and customer pay walk-ins
- Work closely with the General Manager and Production Manager to ensure repair feasibility and workflow efficiency
- Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters to support repair decisions, supplements, and approvals
- Ensure estimates support gross profit targets and proper labor/material allocations
- Review blueprints/tear-downs and update estimates as repairs progress
- Monitor repair costs and cycle-time to support DRP performance metrics
- Stay current with OEM procedures, insurance guidelines, and I-CAR standards
Requirements
✔ Proven experience as an Auto Collision Repair Estimator
✔ Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and insurance estimating
✔ Proficient in CCC ONE
✔ Experience working with DRPs including GEICO, State Farm, USAA, Travelers, and others
✔ Understanding of gross profit, labor rates, and sales performance
✔ I-CAR Certified (Platinum preferred or willingness to obtain)
✔ Strong analytical and communication skills
✔ Ability to manage multiple repairs in a fast-paced environment
✔ Team-oriented with a customer-service mindset
