Non CDL driver needed for 26ft Box Truck, Contractor

Experienced Non CDL straight truck driver is needed
Clean background and clean driver record is a must, otherwise your application will be rejected
Must have 3+ years 26ft box truck final mile driving experience in NJ/NY/PA area, with excellent knowledge of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens.
Must be an responsible individual who is capable to show up on time every day, and follow the instructions provided by the dispatchers
If you pass the interview your driving knowledge will be tested, so please don't waste your time if you don't have an excellent knowledge in the tristate area and the five boroughs
Must speak fluent English, eligible to work in US and Must have 5+ years US driver license
Must pass background and drug test
We are looking for reliable person with good working ethic and manors
Knowledge of using pallet jack, scanner, hand jack and lift gate
Must be able to lift, loading and offloading
Retail touch freight deliveries in stores, malls and warehouses
Responsibilities
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely arrival at destinations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and delivery records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
- Assist in training new drivers on safe driving practices and equipment operation when necessary.
Requirements
Safely driving 26ft Box truck
Early morning start
Pre trip inspection prior driving
Counting and scanning boxes when needed
Securing cargo with straps, checking for damages prior loading, shrink wrapping pallets, pushing and pulling pallets
Loading and offloading pallets/pieces
Sending BOL/POD pictures once signed by receiver/shipper
Clean MVR, and a NJ driver license or do not apply (Insurance won't accept if any accidents, or bad driving record)
Need to have medical card
Willingness to do Drug/Alcohol test
Need to have smart phone with internet
Compensation: $200 per day ( 9-10hr shift), options for extra work for extra pay
