American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring neuro and peripheral intervention experience and a VA or compact RN license.

Inpatient/outpatient Interventional Radiology department
-
Department includes 4 angiography suites (2 single-plane, 2 biplane), 1 dedicated CT scanner, and 1 multipurpose fluoroscopy suite for pain management

Utilizes advanced imaging technologies

Epic EMR experience required

Day shift schedule: 4x10s, 7:30am-6pm, Monday-Friday with 1 rotating day off

Possible weekend coverage required

On-call requirement includes one primary call per week and one primary call weekend per month with a 30-minute callback time

Must be available to work or take call for one holiday per 13-week contract in rotation with staff

Active VA State or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted only for candidates holding a single-state license from a non-compact state)

Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required

Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Experience in neuro and peripheral interventions required

Epic charting system experience required

Provide nursing care within a Level I Trauma Center for both adult and pediatric patients

Work in a comprehensive IR department offering minimally invasive procedures for vascular, neuro, and oncologic conditions

Focus on precision care, reduced recovery times, and alternatives to traditional surgery

Local candidates are not accepted; radius requirements apply based on facility guidelines

Previous employees (per diem and permanent) must have a minimum one-year separation before returning as a traveler
