Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated, and professional Maintenance Technician / Property Operations Specialist to join our team. This position combines hands-on maintenance work with field operations responsibilities, making every day different and engaging.
The ideal candidate is someone who is handy with minor repairs, communicates well with tenants and owners, works efficiently without constant supervision, and takes pride in representing the company professionally in the field.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow with a company and develop skills in property management, maintenance coordination, inspections, and client relations.
Responsibilities
- Perform minor maintenance and repair work at residential properties
- Troubleshoot basic maintenance issues and identify when vendors or licensed contractors are needed
- Complete property inspections and document property conditions with photos and notes
- Meet with property owners, vendors, tenants, and prospective clients professionally
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and courteous manner
- Conduct move-in and move-out inspections
- Assist with general property upkeep and preventative maintenance tasks
- Coordinate and communicate with office staff regarding field updates and work orders
- Pick up materials and supplies as needed
- Help ensure all properties are maintained to company standards
- Represent the company professionally while in the field and interacting with clients
Qualifications
- General handyman or maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to perform minor repairs including basic plumbing, drywall, painting, fixture replacement, caulking, troubleshooting, and general property upkeep
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Organized and dependable
- Comfortable using smartphones/apps for photos, communication, and work orders
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift and carry materials and work both indoors and outdoors

Schedule
- Full-time preferred
- Monday–Friday with occasional after-hours or emergency response opportunities depending on business needs
