Overview
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a homecare staffing specialist. This role involves coordinating and providing exceptional nursing care for diverse patient cases in a home setting. We partner with local hospitals to provide, assessments, IV therapy, Injections, IV push, walk studies, lab draw to various patients int eh greater raleigh durham area- our average RN time n the home is 45minutes and the average pay for that is 85-95 bucks per visit-
Duties
- Assess patient needs through detailed evaluation of medical history, vital signs, and physiological data to develop personalized care plans.
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and established protocols, including medication administration, wound management, and diagnostic evaluation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate discharge planning, case management, and utilization management while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessment and documentation in medical records; adjust care plans as necessary to meet evolving needs.
- Educate patients and their families on health management strategies, medication adherence, and safety precautions within the home environment.
- Maintain high standards of infection control and safety practices during all patient interactions.
Requirements
- Valid RN license with current registration in the state of practice.
- Extensive clinical experience in critical care settings such as ICU, Level I Trauma Centers, or emergency rooms.
- Proven background in hospital medicine, medical-surgical units, or outpatient clinics with post-acute care exposure.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
