About the Role
We're looking for energetic, dependable team members to help keep our pizza kitchen running smoothly. This position is responsible for preparing food, maintaining quality standards, keeping the kitchen clean, and ensuring every guest receives great-tasting food served quickly and accurately.
Responsibilities
- Prepare pizzas, foldovers, subs, salads, appetizers, and other menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Stretch dough, top pizzas, and operate kitchen equipment safely.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and presentation.
- Maintain proper food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Stock and organize food, supplies, and prep stations.
- Assist with food preparation and ingredient portioning.
- Work efficiently during busy meal periods while maintaining accuracy.
- Follow ticket times and production standards.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
- Receive and properly rotate inventory using FIFO procedures.
- Communicate effectively with managers and fellow team members.
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
