Job Description
Purpose of Position
To provide the leadership necessary to promote teamwork and continuous improvement. To assist with shipments, process control issues, analyst responsibilities and training, and cross training. This position will report to the Area Manager and assist in creating, assessing, and executing the dock plan.
Requirements and Responsibilities
1. Certification Requirements
Rework Analyst certification or ability to certify within 90 days required.
2. Additional Back-End Certification Requirements
If assigned to the back-end, must be certified in one of the following within the first 24 months:
A. Penetrant Inspection Level II by 24 months.
B. Visual/Dimensional Mapping.
Must be certified as outlined in Sections 1 and 2 above to be eligible for Step 6.
3. Additional Certifications
May be required to have additional certifications depending on assigned work center or departments.
4. Flexibility and Team Support
Incumbent must be willing, as required by team and production needs, to:
A. Adjust shift.
B. Perform various jobs required to process parts.
C. Interface with other teams and support areas.
5. Communication Skills
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Instructions must be clear and unambiguous; consistently assures directions are clearly understood, resulting in work that rarely, if ever, needs to be redone due to the quality of communication.
6. Presentation and Interface Skills
Ability to make shop floor presentations to audits, engineering, and other departments as required or requested.
