Foster Graham Milstein & Calisher, LLP, is seeking a full-time Litigation Paralegal to join our civil litigation practice group and support attorneys in our Grand Junction office.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of litigation experience, with exposure to a range of litigation matters.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Required skills include:
- Civil litigation experience and familiarity with rules of civil procedure and local rules in state and federal court
- Ability to docket/calendar case deadlines
- E-filing in state and federal courts (CCE and CM/ECF)
- Ability to draft court documents, discovery, and correspondence
- Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials
- Experience with PDF processing software (Adobe, Kofax, etc.) for Bates numbering, headers/footers, redaction, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, business vendors, attorneys and staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills with a “can-do” work ethic and dependable team player
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience with time entry
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Preferred skills include:
- Experience with Westlaw
- Document production database management
- Document management experience
- Format appellate briefs (Table of Contents, Table of Authorities)
- Experience with Everlaw or other e-discovery platforms
The hiring range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually. Actual salary will vary and may fall outside the range based on relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable law.
This position is based in our Grand Junction office at the address below. Regular, in-person attendance is required.
