Job Overview
We’re looking for a Texas-licensed HVAC professional (or a top-tier tech working toward licensure) who wants more than just a truck and a schedule.
This role is for someone who:

Active HVAC license holders receive additional bonus compensation.
Revenue- and sales-based bonuses are built into this role.
Duties
- Residential HVAC service, diagnostics, maintenance, and replacements
- Presenting clear, honest options (repair vs. replace)
- Running calls the Nexstar way (professional, ethical, customer-first)
- Working with flat-rate pricing (no guessing, no haggling)
- Maintaining TDLR compliance and licensing standards
- Mentoring and supporting junior techs
- Using ServiceTitan for job documentation and estimates
- Keeping job sites clean, safe, and professional
- Participating in ongoing training and performance coaching
Experience
- Texas HVAC Contractor License or TDLR-Compliant Certified Technician License
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred)
- 3–5+ years of residential HVAC experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with:
- Split systems
- Heat pumps
- Gas furnaces
- Air handlers
- Valid Texas driver’s license
- Ability to pass background check & drug screening
