Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Custodian/Maintenance Worker to keep our facilities clean, safe, and well-maintained. This vital role involves performing a variety of cleaning, custodial, and maintenance tasks to ensure a welcoming and functional environment for staff, visitors, and clients. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety across our premises. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Conduct routine janitorial duties such as trash removal, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Execute floor care tasks including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing to preserve the appearance and longevity of flooring surfaces.
- Carry out general custodial responsibilities such as restocking supplies, maintaining cleaning equipment, and ensuring storage areas are organized.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs, painting , lot walk for debris removal, and troubleshooting issues related to lighting or plumbing.
- Support industrial cleaning projects by handling specialized cleaning tasks in our maintenance facility.
- Maintain safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning procedures.
- Experience with industrial cleaning methods and facilities maintenance is preferred.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, pressure washers, and basic hand tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for managing supplies and completing tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning duties including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, bending, and climbing ladders.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
