Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Plumbing and Heating Technician to join our team, dedicated to delivering top-quality plumbing and heating solutions across commercial and residential construction sites. Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites or during remodeling projects.
- Perform HVAC system installations and troubleshooting to ensure optimal heating, ventilation, and air conditioning performance.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing and mechanical layouts.
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and other construction tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople to coordinate project tasks seamlessly.
- Follow schematics and technical instructions for system assembly or remodeling projects while maintaining high quality standards.
- Perform basic math calculations for measurements, pipe sizing, or material estimates as needed.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations on construction sites by wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and following safety procedures.
Experience
- Proven construction site experience with a focus on plumbing or heating systems.
- Knowledge of construction plumbing practices including pipe fitting, pipe threading, soldering, and system assembly.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy lifting equipment, and basic carpentry skills.
- Understanding of plumbing and heating systems installation, maintenance, or repair is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license is mandatory, Plumbing license is HIGHLY desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations. Pay: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
