Responsibilities
- Run and supervise an electrical crew on commercial job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics
- Run conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid conduit)
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems
- Pull wire, terminate equipment, and troubleshoot electrical systems
- Coordinate daily tasks and ensure projects stay on schedule
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Work efficiently and productively to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician
- Experience leading and managing a crew
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings
- Skilled in running conduit and commercial electrical installations
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and code requirements
- Must be knowledgeable, efficient, productive, and self-motivated
- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Perform routine inspections of industrial electrical systems, troubleshoot complex issues with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and carry out preventative maintenance.
- Work safely on construction sites or renovation projects by adhering to all safety protocols including lockout/tagout procedures.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring tasks efficiently while maintaining a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a solid background in industrial electrical systems and construction site work.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards, NEC regulations, and local electrical codes is essential.
- Experience working with low voltage systems, high-voltage wiring, and industrial electrical components such as PLCs.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Ability to perform installation of electrical wiring in new constructions or renovations while following all safety procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions using hand tools and power tools.
