Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. You will help streamline processes, facilitate precise financial reporting, and uphold the integrity of our financial data. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general ledger (GL) entries, including coding expenses, posting journal entries, and reconciling key accounts.
- Support month‑end close by preparing reconciliations (bank, credit card, AP/AR subledgers), reviewing variances, and ensuring proper cut‑off.
- Full‑cycle Accounts Payable (AP): Process vendor invoices (raw materials, supplies, equipment), match to POs/receipts, obtain approvals, and prepare payments.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and send customer invoices, apply payments, monitor aging, follow up on overdue accounts, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Prepare and execute check runs (physical checks and electronic payments) for vendors and suppliers.
- Support payroll processing, sales tax filings, and other ad‑hoc financial tasks.
- Record all transactions accurately in the accounting system; Epicor ERP experience is a strong plus.
- Maintain organized financial records to support audits and compliance with basic GAAP principles and manufacturing industry standards.
- Help maintain inventory‑related accounting, including cost tracking, adjustments, and manufacturing‑specific entries.
Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of hands‑on bookkeeping experience, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments.
- Strong understanding of AR/AP cycles, vendor payments, and check processing.
- Familiarity with general ledger structure, journal entries, and basic GAAP concepts (revenue recognition, expense matching, accruals).
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; comfortable learning ERP workflows and industry‑specific processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Trustworthy and able to handle confidential financial information.
- Bonus: Degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant certifications.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
