Allergy, Asthma and Immunology Center – Dr. Ty Prince, PLLC, an independent physician practice, is seeking a proactive, organized, and clinically experienced Clinical “Pod” Nurse Manager– LPN/RN to join our Clarksville clinical team.
This role is ideal for a licensed nurse who enjoys both direct patient care and team leadership. The Clinical Pod Nurse Manager will support day-to-day clinic operations, help coordinate staff schedules and training, help improve and write clinical workflows & protocols, and assist our Physicians and Nurse Practitioners in delivering high-quality allergy, asthma, and immunology care.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership and Team Coordination
The Clinical Nurse Manager will help lead and support the clinical pod by:
- Creating, maintaining, and coordinating clinical team schedules.
- Coordinating and approving staff time-off requests in accordance with company policy.
- Supporting daily clinical workflow to ensure providers, nurses, and clinical staff are prepared for patient care.
- Assisting with recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and continued training of clinical team members.
- Maintaining employee training check-offs, competency documentation, and clinical skills records.
- Providing ongoing staff education
- Serving as a resource for clinical staff regarding office workflows, patient care processes, documentation expectations, and clinical protocols.
- Helping promote a positive, team-oriented, patient-focused workplace culture.
- Communicating staffing, training, workflow, and clinical concerns to leadership as appropriate.
- Supporting consistency in clinical operations across office locations.
- Lead training, scheduling, clinical mentorship, and performance evaluations for clinical staff
Patient Care, Shot Room, and Clinical Support
This position will also provide hands-on clinical support to Physicians and Nurse Practitioners, including:
- Taking and documenting patient medical histories.
- Recording vital signs.
- Preparing patients for examination.
- Preparing and administering medications and injections within the nurse’s scope of practice and under provider direction.
- Assisting with allergy, asthma, and immunology procedures, including skin testing and pulmonary function testing.
- Educating patients and families regarding testing, treatment recommendations, medications, and follow-up care.
- Processing pharmacy orders and refill requests.
- Obtaining prior authorizations.
- Accurately documenting patient encounters in the appropriate electronic health record system, including eClinicalWorks.
- Train and work in shot room including: preparing and administering allergy injections, accurately documenting allergy injection encounters, and responding to patient questions.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN or RN nursing program.
- Current, active, unrestricted LPN or RN license in Tennessee, or compact/multistate nursing license with privilege to practice in Tennessee.
- At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
- At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience
- Experience using electronic health record systems.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead, train, and support clinical team members.
- Commitment to excellent patient care and customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Ability to stand frequently during scheduled shifts.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation due to occasional travel between locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in allergy, asthma, immunology, ENT, primary care, urgent care, or specialty practice setting.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks.
- Experience with prior authorizations, medication refills, patient education, and clinical competency tracking.

Location / Travel
This position is primarily based in person in Clarksville, TN, with regular support of the Dickson, TN clinic and travel to other clinic locations as needed to support staffing, training, education, and provider schedules.
Required training in Knoxville, TN and Cookeville, TN will be provided. Paid mileage, paid hotel accommodations, and a meal stipend will be provided for travel in accordance with company policy.
