Job Overview
We have recently relocated our LA showroom from West Hollywood (est. 2017) to a new architecturally designed space in Beverly Boulevard's design district. The role is onsite Tuesday - Saturday.
Led by the Showroom Manager this location facilitates retail and trade sales, fulfills ecommerce orders and supports wholesale resellers; offering exceptional customer service to all sales channels.
The Showroom Manager is a hands on role responsible for:
- leading the LA team, optimizing sales and profitability, while maintaining the highest level of operational performance.
- supervising the online customer service and fulfilment, liaising with head office with development updates and issues.
- assisting with facilitating wholesale distribution in the US working closely with the wholesale and trade manager.
- oversee inventory holdings, receiving, dispatch and be responsible for the integrity of the stock levels.
- work collaboratively with the Mud Australia team to develop, document and implement operating policies and procedures to enhance the customer experience and uphold the values of Mud Australia.
- be the voice of Mud Australia in LA and will effectively represent the brand in this manner.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise showroom staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating performance to ensure high standards of customer service and sales
- Oversee inventory management, including stock replenishment, merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory control to maximize product availability and presentation
- Manage daily store operations such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) system management, and bookkeeping tasks
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clients, including promotional displays and local outreach efforts
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom environment
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and provide exceptional service to foster customer loyalty
- Coordinate purchasing activities and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely stock replenishment at optimal costs

- Proven management experience in retail or showroom environments with strong supervisory skills in training, coaching and mentoring team members
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management systems and POS technology
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to delegate and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
