We are currently hiring front-of-house staff for Alcove Market located in the Jasper Building next to Colonial Lake in downtown Charleston.
The position at Alcove Market acts as a customer service expert as well as building coffee, espresso, and tea beverages.
We expect candidates to be familiar with the Food & Beverage industry and open to working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
An ideal applicant combines customer service, attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to work as part of a team, and openness to learning the craft of coffee (if not already familiar).
Job responsibilities include: Cashier/Customer Service work, Maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room, brewing coffee and espresso along with steaming milk appropriately for lattes and cappuccinos. Proper food handling and hygiene is a must.
