American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring a GA or compact RN license, ACLS, and a minimum of 1 year of ED experience.

Work setting is a hospital Emergency Department

Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
-
13-week contract
-
Active Georgia (GA) or compact RN license required
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all from American Heart Association or Red Cross)

BVP/De-escalation & Crisis Intervention (DCI) training required
-
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience required

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) or Stroke Certification preferred

COVID vaccination/boosters preferred

DOB and SSN required for consideration

Responsible for delivering safe patient care utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

Communicates changes in patient clinical condition — including diagnostic results and symptomatology — to the attending physician

Knowledgeable about EMTALA regulations and mandatory reporting requirements for child and adult abuse

Directs and guides patient/family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel
