WV Second Chance Moving is looking for an experienced box truck driver and professional mover to join our team. This is a leadership position for someone who knows how to safely move furniture, lead a crew, communicate with customers professionally, and represent our company the right way.
We are NOT looking for someone who has only helped friends move. We are specifically looking for applicants with REAL professional moving, delivery, or furniture handling experience with an established company.
Job Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate a box truck safely and responsibly
- Lead a moving crew on residential and commercial jobs
- Load, unload, wrap, protect, and transport furniture properly
- Ensure furniture, walls, floors, and homes are protected from damage
- Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
- Maintain efficiency, organization, and leadership on job sites
- Represent WV Second Chance Moving with professionalism at all times
Requirements
:• Valid driver’s license required
- Experience driving a box truck REQUIRED
- Professional moving or furniture delivery experience REQUIRED
- Must have leadership skills and experience managing or leading a crew
- Must be physically capable of lifting and moving heavy furniture safely
- Reliable transportation to and from work required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Must be dependable, motivated, and have a strong work ethic
- No smoking on customer jobs
- No profanity while representing the company
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- References will be checked
Pay & Growth Opportunities:
- Starting pay is $17/hour during a 90 day probationary period
- During the probationary period, employment may be terminated if the employee is not a good fit for the company
- After 90 days, pay will increase based on performance, leadership, reliability, and attitude
- Opportunity to move into higher paying job based compensation after probationary period
Schedule Expectations:This position requires flexibility. Work schedules will vary depending on booked moves. Availability and reliability are extremely important.

Pay: $17.00 - $28.95 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
