Banquet Line Cook
Opportunity:
The Osthoff Resort & Spa is seeking a Banquet Cook to join our banquet culinary team. As a Banquet Cook, you will assist with all aspects of banquet food preparation and execution, ensuring high standards and delivering memorable dining experiences. Our Banquet Department hosts a wide range of events including weddings, corporate conferences, and seasonal buffets.
**Full-time or part-time positions available.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented to the standards set for The Osthoff Resort & Spa
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all banquet event orders are completed in a timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of standard menus, special menus, and 86 items
- Practice clear and effective communication with all kitchen and banquet team members
- Demonstrate working knowledge of dietary needs and its importance to safe food handling
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation for all banquet functions
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation protocols are strictly followed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment
- Maintain a harmonious work environment
- All other duties as assigned
Skills/Requirements:
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in a high-volume banquet or resort setting preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Flexible schedule including some evening, weekend, and holiday availability
- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to excellence
