Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial minded and detail-oriented Production Lead to work hands-on as well as supervise team members. In addition, they will develop team members, coach, motivate, train associates to high performance levels who are able to work independently and efficiently. Ensure safety, proper housekeeping, production, and quality goals are met. Maintaining and constantly improving a safe and quality-driven work culture is paramount in this position.
Responsibilities: Lead daily manufacturing operations, coordinating workflows to meet production targets efficiently
- Enforce safety standards in production areas, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety protocols
- Monitor compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure product quality and regulatory adherence
- Provide hands-on leadership in troubleshooting mechanical issues, applying mechanical knowledge to resolve equipment problems swiftly
- Manage team schedules, assign tasks, and motivate staff to achieve high performance levels
- Maintain accurate production records, logs, and reports for continuous improvement initiatives
- Work hands on with your team to meet daily production requirements
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of production processes and mechanical systems
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams within a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of safety standards applicable to manufacturing facilities, including PPE use and heavy lifting protocols
- Familiarity with GMP regulations and quality assurance practices in production settings
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and effectively using mechanical knowledge
- Prior experience managing or supervising production staff is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn

Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent may include specialized or vocational courses.
- One to three years of lead experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Microsoft Office Computer Skills
- Knowledge and experience with Warehouse Management Systems
