American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Antepartum/OB High Risk Unit position at a Level IV Maternal Designation facility in Austin, TX, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification.

Work in a 14-bed monitored Antepartum unit within a high-volume OB department at a Level IV Maternal Designation facility
-
Facility includes 20 LDR suites, 4 C-section suites, 10 triage rooms, and 51 Mother-Baby Couplet rooms
-
Academic teaching service alongside large private OB practices with 24-hour in-house Attending OB, anesthesia, and NICU coverage
-
High-risk, fast-paced delivery environment performing over 500 deliveries per month with an active Perinatal Transport Program

Facility is expanding with a new Women's Tower opening mid-2026
-
Night shift: 18:45–07:15

13-week contract

Active TX RN license or compact RN license with TX endorsement required

Current certifications required: BLS (AHA or Red Cross), ACLS (AHA or Red Cross), and NRP (AAP)

Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification required

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery or Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required

Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and US home address

Driver's License, 2 professional references, and copies of certifications and license verifications required for consideration

Provide antepartum nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients in a monitored inpatient setting

Preferred: 3–5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service

Preferred certifications: S.T.A.B.L.E Program and Advanced Fetal Monitoring

Preferred education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
