Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated A&P (Airframe and Powerplant) Mechanic to join our dynamic aviation maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining aircraft to ensure safety, compliance, and optimal performance. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless operation of our fleet, supporting both routine maintenance and complex troubleshooting tasks. Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft, including inspections, repairs, and modifications in accordance with FAA regulations and company standards
- Utilize technical schematics, engineering drawings, CAD models, and schematics to diagnose issues accurately
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying problems affecting aircraft systems and implement effective solutions
- Use specialized industrial tools, power tools, torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, soldering equipment, and precision measuring instruments for repairs and fabrication
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics related to airframe structures, avionics systems, electrical wiring, sheet metal fabrication, and mechanical systems repair
- Operate coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for precise measurements of aircraft components and assemblies
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) in compliance with AS9100 standards for quality management
Requirements
- Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification is mandatory
- Proven experience in aviation maintenance within an aviation maintenance facility or flight line environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge of aircraft systems including airframe structures, engines, electrical systems, avionics, and powerplant components
- Familiarity with military aviation standards and Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) governing aircraft maintenance
- Hands-on experience with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, CAD files (including AutoCAD), and engineering troubleshooting techniques
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as soldering irons, ammeters, ohmmeters, calipers, micrometers, welding equipment, and other specialized industrial tools
- Electrical experience with wiring diagrams and electrical troubleshooting is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate equipment such as forklifts or other industrial machinery when necessary
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to sheet metal work and aircraft assembly procedures
- Experience working with CMMS software for maintenance tracking and documentation
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis in complex mechanical or electrical systems
- Strong communication skills for interpreting technical instructions and collaborating within a team environment

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
