Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Observe, report, and document security incidents and irregularities
- Enforce site policies and procedures in a professional manner
- Conduct foot patrols of assigned premises
- Stand post at entrances, buildings, or designated areas
- Respond to emergencies and crisis situations calmly and efficiently
- Assist clients, staff, and visitors with questions or concerns
- Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
- Operate computers, phones, tablets, and site-specific security technology
Required Licenses, Permits & Certifications:
- Valid California Guard Card (Required)
- Powers to Arrest Certificate (Required)
- Baton Permit (If applicable to assignment)
- Pepper Spray (OC) Permit (If applicable to assignment)
- Taser Permit (If applicable to assignment)
- All permits must be current and in good standing
Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional security experience (Required)
- High school diploma or GED required
- No felony arrests or convictions
- Clean Driver’s License (No DUI or multiple moving violations)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills and ability to use wireless technology
- Knowledge of public safety and security procedures
- Professional appearance and conduct at all times
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift or carry up to 40 lbs occasionally
- Ability to climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as needed
- Ability to walk on various surfaces for extended periods
Additional Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must pass a background check
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling
- Ability to follow company and client-specific post orders
