Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly and energetic Server/Cashier to join our vibrant food service team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing excellent customer service while efficiently handling food orders and payments. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
- Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations.
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, supporting kitchen staff with food safety and sanitation practices.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, counters, and workstations by bussing tables and ensuring proper sanitation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, dietary needs, and feedback professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service, or fast-food restaurant environments is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as TOAST POS is a plus.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy hours while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
- Experience in food preparation or culinary tasks is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members from diverse backgrounds.
