Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort in residential or commercial spaces. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential or commercial spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitization using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing with care and efficiency.
- Maintain floor care by sweeping, scrubbing, polishing, and applying appropriate treatments to ensure surfaces are clean and safe.
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures according to established standards to promote health and safety.
- Use manual handling techniques to lift heavy furniture or equipment safely during cleaning tasks.
- Manage janitorial supplies inventory, ensuring all cleaning equipment is maintained in good condition for optimal performance.
- Communicate effectively with clients or residents to understand specific cleaning needs while providing excellent customer service.
- Conduct outdoor work when necessary for maintaining exterior areas or outdoor furniture as part of comprehensive housekeeping services.
- Prioritize tasks efficiently through effective time management to complete all duties within scheduled timeframes.
- Adhere strictly to health protocols related to sanitation and cleanliness standards in all environments.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation procedures.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling bulky items or furniture during deep cleans.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent dusting skills and surface sanitation practices.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently across multiple spaces.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients or residents about their needs.
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas or outdoor furnishings.
- Physical stamina for manual handling tasks involving prolonged standing, bending, or walking.
