At Kirby Risk Precision Machining , We provide machining solutions for our customers in industrial, construction, agricultural, oil and gas, forestry, mining, power generation, and electric drive-train sectors.
What You’ll Do as a Material Handler
In this role, you will ensure the accurate and timely receipt of inventory and delivery of material to support the manufacturing environment.
You’ll:
- Deliver raw material throughout the production facility
- Stage raw material and work in process for production efficiency
- Verify accuracy of incoming material quantities
- Maintain and organize all inventory storage locations, including materials received for repairs and stock
- Communicate inventory discrepancies to production management
What Makes You a Great Fit
- High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrate basic Mechanical aptitude
- Previous shipping/receiving experience is required.
- Previous forklift experience; Current forklift certification
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and customer contact skills
- Clean driving record and Valid Driver’s License (For Hire Endorsement, must be 21 years of age)
What to Expect in This Role
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and adapt to varied work environments
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm
