About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, self-sufficient Journeyman Carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship and possesses a solid background in general residential and commercial construction. In this role, you will work across framing, exterior finishes, interior trim, and general structural installations, stepping in wherever needed on site. You must bring a reliable work truck, your own setup of hand and power tools, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Framing & Structural: Build wood and metal stud framing, floor joists, roof rafters, and structural supports according to blueprints.
- Exterior & Interior Finishes: Install doors, windows, siding, decking, drywall, cabinetry, trim, and custom moldings.
- General Site Support: Assist with job site setup, basic concrete formwork, minor multi-trade prep work, and daily cleanup.
- Plan Execution: Read blueprints, layout dimensions accurately, measure twice, and execute clean cuts with minimal material waste.
- Safety & Efficiency: Maintain an organized work area and strictly follow OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 4 to 8 years of proven experience as a Journeyman Carpenter in residential or commercial construction.
- Truck & Tools: Must own a reliable work truck/van capable of hauling materials/ladders, plus a complete personal set of hand tools and cordless power tools.
- Skills: Proficient in rough and finish carpentry, blueprint reading, and basic job-site problem solving.
- Licensing & Requirements: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable attendance.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
