L.V. Trucking in Columbus, Ohio is looking for a detail oriented person to process our daily billing and driver payroll. The duties surrounded with this position will include daily freight invoicing, driver payroll, entry-level accounting work to include posting deposits and past-due collections. There are other duties to be performed on a weekly, monthly and quarterly timeframe. The candidate will handle IFTA reporting, handle fuel receipts, etc.
The candidate should be very organized and self-motivated. You will be working in a small office, cooperation and the ability to work closely with others is a must. You will be working closely with Operations and Sales in order to perform your daily functions.

The office hours are 07:00AM - 4:00PM. The position is fulltime, but we can be flexible if/when necessary. The hours are 7:00am - 4:00pm. $21 - $25 per hour depending on experience.
Job Description:
*Prepare driver settlement for our payroll company. Payroll is submitted by sending an Excel spreadsheet. Experience with Excel and QuickBooks is a must.
*All freight invoicing. Most invoicing is submitted through shippers' individual portals or TMS. Familiarity of such portals is helpful, but not necessary.
*Posting of daily deposits
*Handling collections of all past due invoices
*Answering phones along with other miscellaneous office duties to include filing
*Keeping driver miles & preparing IFTA reports for quarterly filing.
*Assisting in Operations (limited)
Requirements:
*Proficient in Excel for multiple spreadsheets used
*Knowledge of QuickBooks, very helpful but not necessary
*Logistics experience is helpful, but not necessary. Without logistics experience, we would expect the candidate to have the willingness to understand simple truck movements. This will aid in your ease of doing the job.
