Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Customer Service Representative to join our on-site team. In this role, you will be the friendly face and helpful voice for our customers, providing exceptional service while assisting with insurance inquiries, policy management, and sales support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in customer service, sales, and insurance while working in a collaborative environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their insurance needs in person
- Handle customer inquiries regarding policies, claims, and billing with clarity and professionalism
- Promote insurance products through effective communication and understanding of customer needs
- Assist with sales administration tasks, including processing policy changes and updating customer records
- Conduct analysis of customer accounts to identify opportunities for additional coverage or policy adjustments
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA standards for confidentiality when applicable
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience (insurance industry experience is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively discuss policy options and resolve concerns
- Experience in retail sales, telemarketing, or outside sales preferred but not required
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving a diverse client base
- Knowledge of sales administration, marketing, and benefits administration is advantageous
- Demonstrated analysis skills to assess customer needs and recommend suitable solutions
- Ability to work on-site consistently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience in insurance sales or customer service roles is beneficial but not mandatory

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
