Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote sales.
- Manage bar operations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving appetizers or snacks during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate needs for procurement to ensure smooth bar operations.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume restaurant settings.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine types, craft beers, and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in food handling, food safety practices, and adhering to health regulations within the food industry.
- Previous roles involving beverage sales, cash handling, and basic math for processing payments accurately.
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards related to serving alcohol responsibly and maintaining a safe environment for all guests.
