Menahga Public Schools is looking for a detail-driven, organized professional to take ownership of our school nutrition program — leading our point-of-sale operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and helping tell the story of what great school food service can be. What you'll do-
Own and oversee the point-of-sale system — training staff and ensuring accurate, consistent use

Coordinate ongoing training and maintain certification records for all kitchen staff

Ensure precise recipe documentation and full meal component compliance

Process and submit monthly meal claims in compliance with state and federal requirements

Pursue and implement grant funding to strengthen the food service program

Partner with students, staff, and the community to champion school nutrition education

Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal food service regulations
What you'll bring-
Experience with point-of-sale systems and meticulous record-keeping

Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail

A collaborative spirit — comfortable working with students, staff, administration, and the community

ServSafe certification, or ability to obtain it within a designated timeframe

Knowledge of school nutrition programs and meal pattern requirements (preferred)

Grant writing experience — or a willingness to be trained (preferred)
Compensation
$45K – $55K Based on experience & contract length. Full benefits per district policy.
