Position Overview
Millie N Motion is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Class A CDL 53 FT OTR Reefer Driver to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating tractor-trailers, transporting temperature-controlled freight, and maintaining a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service.
This position requires overnight travel and the ability to manage long-haul routes while ensuring the timely and secure delivery of refrigerated freight.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A CDL tractor-trailer with refrigerated (reefer) equipment.
- Transport temperature-sensitive freight in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and report any maintenance concerns.
- Ensure all cargo is properly secured and maintained at required temperatures.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules while adhering to DOT regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel.
- Provide exceptional customer service at pickup and delivery locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Experience operating refrigerated trailers.
- Ability to operate both automatic transmission vehicles.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service requirements, and safe driving practices.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
