Dental Hygienist – Join Our Growing Team!
We are expanding and seeking a self-motivated, energetic Dental Hygienist with a positive attitude to join our team as soon as possible. If you have excellent clinical skills and a passion for educating patients on oral hygiene, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather patient information and health history
- Review dental and relevant medical records for examinations
- Prepare patients for dental procedures
- Provide patient care and support during treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices
- Take X-rays and follow all safety procedures
- Examine patients for gingivitis, periodontitis, or other oral conditions
- Clean teeth to remove plaque, polish teeth, and floss as needed
- Prepare and maintain the work area for procedures
- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment following proper protocols
- Update patient records and examination notes in Dentrix
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Current Florida dental hygiene license
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules
- Current CPR certification
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid understanding of dental hygiene procedures
- Compassionate and patient-focused
- Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
- Team player with a professional attitude
