We are looking to add to our kids' Place staff team to provide a dynamic and fun after school experience for the children attending Kids' Place. These individuals will be responsible for supervising the children, along with their co-counselor, while creating a positive community within their group. These staff members will be responsible for upholding the policies and philosophy of Kids' Place, displaying spirit, and maintaining a positive attitude.
Kids' Place is in operation Monday-Friday from 1-6 pm and all day, 8am - 6pm, when local schools are closed.
The WJCC provides ongoing training and opportunities for professional growth. WJCC membership is provided with employment.
Education, Training, Experience - Certification, Licensure:
- High school graduate, some college preferred
- CPR/First Aid and MAT training would be preferred but not required
- Experience working with kids
- Clean driving record (if driving)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to manage/supervise a group of children
- Ability to plan age-appropriate programs and activities
- Ability to take initiative
- Knowledge and passion to work with children
- Ability to communicate with staff, supervisor, and campers
- Ability to take direction and accept feedback
- Be enthusiastic and creative
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
