We are seeking several candidates to join our kitchen team of successful culinary professionals as a Kitchen Utility employee in Part Time or Full Time capacity. Kitchen Utility employee responsibilities include:
- Process dishes, utensils, pans and other small equipment through the dish machine.
- Clean and maintain dish machine including belts and detergent storage areas.
- Clean and maintain equipment in the Kitchen (Swiss Fryer, Kettle, etc.)
- Retrieve hot boxes from Banquet area and return to Kitchen
- Remove kitchen trash and recyclable bins to dumpster area
- Sweep and mop kitchen areas, hallways and walk in cooler on a daily basis.
- Sort and bag empty bottles for return.
- Clean and maintain garbage pails.
- Keep walls in kitchen area clean and floor and floorboards.
- Assist with plating banquet meals as needed.
- Restock all soap, paper towels, and dispensers in the Kitchen.
- Keep loading dock clean and organized.
- Perform all other assigned duties to assist in efficient departmental operation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Physical requirements include extended standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling 30 pounds regularly and 50 pounds intermittently.
- Exposure to extreme temperatures, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
- Requires wearing of uniform and ability to fulfill related Hotel personal appearance standards.
