Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
*MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN A PRODUCTION SETTING*
Job description:
- Oversee daily operations of the plastic extrusion lines to ensure production targets are met.
- Support machine operators, packers, and other shift personnel.
- Ensure correct setup, startup, and shutdown of extrusion equipment.
- Monitor material usage and coordinate with warehouse/inventory to ensure continuous supply.
- Train new employees on safety procedures, equipment operation, and production techniques.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
- Assist maintenance in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Complete shift reports, production logs, and downtime records accurately.
- Promote and enforce a clean, safe working environment following all ISO and company policies.
- Communicate production issues and shift updates to supervisors and incoming shifts.
