Job Description
We are seeking a Plumbing Project Engineer to join our commercial plumbing team in Dallas Fort Worth, TX. This position will play a key role in supporting project execution by coordinating documentation, maintaining project records, assisting field operations, and helping ensure projects stay on schedule and compliant with safety and quality standards.
Required Skills
- Proficiency with Procore, Egnyte, ShareFile, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong understanding of construction documentation processes
- Experience handling Submittals, RFI’s, Change Orders, and Scheduling
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Knowledge of commercial plumbing construction operations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Must have Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Responsibilities
- Manage and track Submittals, ensuring approvals are received and updated onsite records are maintained
- Prepare, submit, and follow up on RFI’s while maintaining accurate logs and documentation
- Coordinate incoming RFI responses and ensure all changes are incorporated into updated project plans
- Maintain current master drawings and verify that field teams are working from the latest plan revisions
- Perform routine QC inspections and assist with daily Safety Inspections on assigned projects
- Assist with material procurement, delivery coordination, and tracking of back ordered items
- Provide administrative and operational support for the Project Superintendent
- Monitor project schedules and document delays, impacts, or coordination issues through emails and written communication
- Assist with weekly payroll support and project reporting requirements
- Complete and maintain PCR documentation and other project records
- Review and update project information through Procore, ShareFile, and Egnyte platforms
- Track and follow up on revisions to contract documents and field changes
- Coordinate and maintain records for Change Orders, T&M’s, and Formal Changes
- Maintain organized logs for completed Water Testing and Punch List Forms
- Follow up on GC issues, field coordination items, and jobsite safety concerns
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Previous experience in commercial plumbing or construction projects preferred
- Experience supporting field operations and project management teams is a plus
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required

Pay: $105,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
