1st or 2nd Shift | Monday - Thursday
6:00am - 4:30pm or 4:00pm - 2:30am

We're recruiting for an experienced Controls Engineer to join a growing industrial automation manufacturer in Forney, TX.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on highly automated manufacturing equipment, leading automation projects, improving production performance and supporting future technology investments.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop and commission automation and control systems
- Troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, SCADA, HMIs and automated equipment
- Support production uptime and continuous improvement initiatives
- Lead controls-related FMEA and risk assessments
- Maintain electrical schematics and controls documentation
- Support FAT, SAT and new equipment commissioning
- Work with vendors on automation components and system upgrades
- Support integration of SCADA, MES, QMS, WMS and other manufacturing systems
- Mentor technicians and support future automation projects
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Controls or Manufacturing Engineering (or related discipline)
- 3-5 years' automation and controls experience within manufacturing
- Strong PLC experience (Siemens preferred)
- Experience with SCADA and HMI systems
- Ability to read and develop electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
