Position Overview
At Maker llc we are looking for a curious, creative, entry-level graphic designer. This passionate individual is focused on assisting in conceptualization and creating great images and layouts that will shape the brands of our clients. Working closely with senior designers and cross-discipline team members, you will help bring our ideas to life through sketching, mood boarding and iterative processes.
Our client range from large scale Fortune 500 companies to small startups eager to make their mark in the world. We are looking for a graphic designer with humanity, and a strong foundation in core graphic design skills but willing to learn and hone their skills through hard-work, persistence and pursuit of excellence. This person must be able to take direction and translate those words into concepts designs and a visual narrative. This designer is comfortable clearly communication and illustrating concepts and strategic thinking. Sharing and presenting ideas in a team setting and being able to articulate why design were made.
This is a full time position with benefits. The position is based in the Milwaukee area.

Technical Skills
- Proficient in Design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint)
- Video/Animation software (After Effects, Premiere, CapCut)
- Figma
- Basic understanding of printing and digital processes
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
Personal Skills
- Passionate about design and making
- Curious

- Has high EQ
- Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism
- Communicates clearly both verbally and in writing

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, communication design or related field
- No experience required
