Location: Haven Distribution Center, Lakewood, CA Employment type: Full-time, hourly (non-exempt) Reports to: President of Supply Chain Compensation: $20.75 to $21.50 per hour, depending on experience
Haven is a California cannabis company with retail, cultivation, manufacturing, and distribution under one roof, and our Distribution Center is what keeps every Haven store stocked. This role keeps product moving: you run our daily store deliveries, and when you are not on the road you work alongside the warehouse team receiving, processing, and staging product. It is a steady, full-time seat with a predictable schedule and real room to learn the distribution side of a growing operation.
Driving (about two delivery runs a day):
-
Deliver product from the DC to Haven retail stores on a set daily schedule.
-
Before each run, confirm the load is right: invoice counts, METRC tags, bin labels, and total product count all match before you leave the DC.
-
Transport product safely and in line with California compliance rules: travel with the manifest, keep the load secured, and follow your route.
-
Keep the vehicle clean and road-ready, do a full walk-around at every stop, and flag any maintenance need right away.
-
Coordinate pickups, returns, and timing with the team.
Warehouse and material handling (the rest of the day):
-
Receive and count incoming product against the manifest.
-
Enter and reconcile inventory accurately in Distru and METRC.
-
Put product away, label it, and keep the floor organized.
-
Pull and stage orders for store deliveries.
-
Follow FIFO, and move problem or aging inventory to the right place instead of leaving it.
-
21 years or older (required to handle and transport cannabis).
-
A valid California driver's license and a clean driving record. No commercial license needed.
-
Dependable and punctual. This seat keeps our stores stocked, so being there and being on time matters.
-
Comfortable with everyday technology and willing to learn our systems (Distru, METRC, RingCentral). Accuracy counts as much as speed.
-
Able to follow a step-by-step process the same way every time.
-
A team player who can move between driving and warehouse work as the day calls for it.
Nice to have:
-
Delivery driving, warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
-
Experience in licensed cannabis or another regulated, inventory-tracked environment.
-
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly through the shift.
-
Stand, walk, bend, and move product for most of the day.
-
Load and unload the vehicle by hand and with equipment.
-
Drive for stretches across the delivery route.
